I purchased this cd/dvd storage cabinet to keep my toddler out of my video/music collection. You have to assemble it upon arrival, but assembly was quick and easy. I was impressed by the weight and sturdiness of this cabinet. The only thing that isn't solid wood or metal is the backing. Also while the lock wouldn't stop a determined adult it stops my toddler which is the cabinet's function. I would recommend this cabinet to anyone who has a child who gets into their media collection far to often.
