The Acer Aspire One is a great mini laptop. It's surprisingly fast and has as much HD space as standard laptops. The RAM included is 1GB which is fine for basic tasks but I recommend upgrading to at least 2GB. Other than that, it's very portable and works well with document editing, web browsing, and games (although not its specialty). Programs loaded up fast enough so no complaints there. The 10.1" screen is bigger than you think. I had no trouble viewing the screen at all. Goes to show that most standard laptops are huge in a sense (i.e. 17" screens!). Honestly, I was hesitant at first to buy a mini laptop considering its size and lack of CD/DVD drive. However, most tasks can be done either by downloading (i.e. movies, software, drivers) or using a USB drive (i.e. storage, transferring data). I didn't miss the CD/DVD drive much. Moreover, a mini laptop is meant to compliment a standard laptop/desktop, not replace it. Go in with that mindset and you won't be disappointed. Great for taking to college or on business trips. Enjoy if you decide to purchase one!
