This lamp went in easily into the old assembly. I wish it were sold with the filter as you should replace both at the same time. Dropping this a star as the screw holes / screw doesn't line up perfectly but you can eventually fanagle (sp?) it in place. Also it seems slightly less bright the original but just a smidge.
