This is a very affordable, very easy to install, very easy to use switching system for keyboard, video and mouse.

It uses a cat-5 cabling system, which requires additional modules, 1-per server, in order to connect to the keyboard, video and mouse of the server. The cat-5 makes it very easy to cable, but the per-server modules do at to cost.

Keep in mind -- this is for local administration only. You need to have a keyboard, monitor and mouse connected to the unit in order to administer the servers. It doesn't allow remote network administration of the servers.

For an office or small lab, it's perfect.
