Picture quality is great, nice and bright, good color and everything, and that's the most important thing. My complaints are less important, and budget shoppers will be pleased, which is why I still gave it 4 stars.
1) There is just one plug in the back which is VGA. There is no DVI plug or an adapter to go from VGA to DVI. Of course, I have one, so no big deal, but not everyone is a computer hardware pack-rat like me.
2) The power cord is weird. It is not the typical three-prong cord like you plug into your computer's power supply; it's a little circle plug-in like you would get for small electronics. I suppose the power-sipping monitor didn't need the usual beefy cord, but I'm thinking "what if I lose it" as if that's going to happen. I just prefer interchangeability.
3) The thing is a featherweight. I know that should be a good thing but every time I turn it off by pushing the somewhat-awkwardly-placed power button on the bottom-side of the corner, I about knock the thing over. Maybe they should have put the button on the front so I could just sort of pinch it with one finger on the button and the other on the back-side of the monitor for support.
