At first I was a bit skeptical.....a replacement LCD screen for under $70? OK, what's the catch? At the time I didn't have much funds available to replace the screen on my Compaq CQ60, but I needed the laptop for work. I went with it and ordered the replacement from East Coast LCDs. They were very prompt and shipped the screen just as the Amazon order said, including the tracking number. It arrived pretty quickly, so I was anxious to take apart the box and get to repairing my laptop. I must say, this seller takes the extra time to make sure nothing happens to your screen when in transit, because it was thoroughly wrapped with bubble wrap, and taped as well. Finally after getting it out of the package, I proceeded to install on my laptop, and the enclosed instructions explained how to replace the screen greatly. After installed, I powered up the laptop, but it was a no-go. The power light just blinked. Now, you are not supposed to be able to connect the inverter wire backwards, as it has a slotted plug in. Wouldn't you know, though, I did! I finally got everything connected right, and the screen looks beautiful! I would recommend East Coast LCDs to anyone looking for value for your money. (Who isn't in today's economy?)
