Set up ran into a glitch when I tried connecting to an older HDTV, worked fine when I switched to a newer HDTV. I am running it on an NTSC TV and the screen quality is as good as the original DVD. Adapter and unit tend to get a bit warm, will need to use long term to test durability. Recommended if you are looking to avoid going thru a huge stack of DVDs to find the one you want to play, ideal for browsing thru that "Jerry Sienfield Show - Complete Series DVDs" and also for travel entertainment. Build seems to be of quality. Transfer rates from PV to this unit are fine and as per USB 2.0 specs.

I will also want to see how this unit performs in a PAL country. There have been many complaints about users not being able to change the NTSC/PAL setting easily and I will post my findings here when I do have the opportunity to use this unit abroad.
