QNAP Pro 6-Bay Desktop Network Attached Server TS-659 Review

Have the TS-659 Pro for around 2 weeks now. This is a great NAS. I put 5 Samsung 2TB drives in RAID 6, and things are running smoothly. This is my first NAS, so I have nothing to compare to. But it was very easy to setup and the Qnap forum helps a lot too. Performance is not as good as I expected from reviews (I am getting only 30MB/sec write and ~40MB/sec read), but maybe it's due to the RAID 6 setup and I am using Cat5 cables (just ordered some Cat6 cables from Amazon). Will see what the performance will be with new cables.
