I just completed building my very first ever computer gaming build. I did some research to make sure to find a compatible RAM for My mobo P8Z77 V deluxe. One of the things with this mobo is that the CPU connector is very close to the RAM, so it becomes an issue if you want to use RAM with tall heat sinks like the Corsair Vengeance. I have the Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler and Asus P8Z77 V deluxe mother board. This is the most recommended RAM for this Mobo and CPU cooler combination. It works just fine. I cant say much about the speed and overclock ability stuff since I am still new at this things. But the mobo that I bought has some kind of automatic overclock feature to overclock the ram. I didnt run into any issues overclocking the ram with this G.Skill Ares and my mobo. I am very happy. Everything worked perfectly the first time I turned on the power.
