The Pocketcinema T20 has great potential. It is small, light weight, compact and easy to use. The problem is, even though a child can connect it to a laptop, the projection is faulty. I am not sure what one might use this projector for; even in a completely dark room on a white screen you can barely see what is projected on the screen three feet in front of the projector. From 10 feet back, the laptop screen is brighter than the projector. The idea is great, but the delivery is worthless. I cannot recommend this product, even for the price.

I've had this printer for about 12 years. The paper feed began working well but after I moved I had to start feeding the paper one sheet at a time. Here in Japan HP could not fix the problem. (No matter the quality of the products repair is not a strong point here.) Recently I ordered a kit that fixes this problem from Ebay. It is of no use for printing photographs at all, of course. Why the 5 stars?
The print quality is unmatchable! As an experiment I printed a 2 point font. Barely legible with the naked eye, I used a magnifying glass and could read it fine. Absolutely no smearing, bleeding, etc. I can still use it to print formal documents and it looks like a professional book printer printed it. Every ink jet printer I have seen or used produces text that looks like ink blots to me. Not this one! And I'm still using it after 12 years!

I could not be more happy with this computer. I was just looking for something to surf the web, download music and videos - didn't need the newest or the fanciest. Yet it REALLY is fast. Boots faster than any computer I have ever had, I am sure due to the lack installed "bloatware". I even love the fact that it has XP, because I was never able to get my older scanner to work with Windows 7. I was able to hook it up to this machine in less than a minute. Installed a $10.00 USB adapter and connected right to my network for internet, printing and file sharing. I guess the only possible drawback in the small hard drive, but I'll just pick up a portable for added capacity. All in all I am amazed at the amount of machine I got for $85.00. Oh, and great seller too. Quick shipping and thoughtful packaging. The one negative I must mention? It's REALLY noisy.

I purchased this unit with the sole purpose of scanning about fifteen thousand old photographs. I was worried that the slick photos wouldn't feed properly but it worked flawlessly.

I started with a couple thousand 4x6 photos from the 90s, and this machine kept sucking them in while I watched TV. Next, I scanned odd sizes of old snapshots, school, and holiday cards. Last, I loaned the machine to my 70 yr-old aunt and she scanned some seriously old family photos with no problems.

The sizes of photos can be changed on the fly without changing any settings, because the software can see where to crop. The biggest photos I scanned were 8x10 and the smallest were little wallet school photos. By pressing a button on the side, the unit opens up and you can see the scanning light to blow off with canned air every once and a while.

Overall, 5 stars for painless preservation of old photos.
