1000W X3 Modular Psu Review

I own this power supply and purchased it through a competitors website about six months ago.

Pros:
Beautiful Titanium finish.
1000 Watt capability, built on server power supply designs.
Ample ports for hard drives, video cards, etc.
Silent and powerful 135mm exhaust fan.
Flex force cables are easy to insert and remove. They are keyed so that you cannot accidentally insert the wrong way.
The flex force cabling allows for much improved air flow inside the case.
NB: should the cables start to sprawl through the various components, simply purchase some wrap and group them together!

Cons:
A bit on the expensive side, but then again, nice things cost money.

This is a wonderful product and if you register it within thirty days of purchase, you will receive Ultra's lifetime warranty, meaning that should this item fail, you will conceivably never have to buy another 1KW power supply, which is nearing the limits of what you can draw from a 110 wall outlet anyway! If you are a computer enthusiast, I highly recommend this product.

I was just asked to post this from Amazon, so here it is.

Capitalizations are used only to draw readers' attention to key points.

This product did not meet my expectations - it is by most considerations not a "COMPLETE" version per the name of the item - it was an EDUCATIONAL/NON-PROFIT version, which was PACKAGED DIFFERENTLY than what is shown, and the LEGAL LIMITATIONS of use are not mentioned in the subject header of the store webpage.

I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY REFUND after almost A MONTH and quite a bit of pleasant smoke and lip service from TECHNOLOGY GALAXY, even though I returned the package immediately, UNOPENED AND WRAPPED and in re-sellable condition.

I lost a decent job and much schedule time due to not having the STANDARD Filemaker Pro Advanced version, because of a moral judgement of not using the education-only software, and an expectation to be refunded in a timely manner.

So BUYER BEWARE.

Buying from Amazon.com should not require having to read all the fine print. If software is not FULL RETAIL, it should simply state it in the subject header.

I love the G5. First of all many people belive this is a very quiet machine because thats how apple advertises it. It isn't that quiet. Althought quieter than the mirror doors (wind tunnell) it is noticably louder than my iMac. Not really a problem. Other than that there is nothing bad about this computer. I installed FCP4 with the G5 plug in and this thing is blindingly fast. Same with photoshop. No parallel with media professionals or scientists.
